Surf Hire in Watergate Bay

What kind of self-respecting surf school would we be if we didn't rent out equipment to help you practice on?

At Blue Surf School we don't treat hiring equipment as a transaction - we take time to understand your surfing level to give expert advice so you end up with the right equipment.

We work hard to maintain and repair our equipment so you WON'T find yourself lumped with a ridiculously-heavy waterlogged board or ripped wetsuit!

We're only 300 steps from the beach and up to 33% better value than other surf hire options in Watergate Bay.

All our equipment is first come first serve but priority is always given to those booked on our lessons that day.

*Day hire must be returned by the time the surf school closes that day. Overnight hire is possible if the equipment can be transported safely & stored in a secured location and incurs an additional fee of £5.

    Custom Hardboards

    Crafted by local shaper Max Colvin right here in Cornwall - our Hand Laid Eggs hardboards are designed to thrive in UK surf conditions. They can handled ankle-to-overhead waves and are ideal for people still new to hardboards and pros alike.

    Vision Softboards

    Our foam hire boards range from 7-8ft in length and vary in width depending on your ability. We look to repair and maintain our boards, ensuring we remove any unfit boards from circulation to be recycled responsibly.

    Vision Bodyboards

    Our bodyboards are designed for beginners and people wanting to progress. The slick bottom means that you get a lot of control and plenty of speed, making catching all those waves super easy! Every board has a wrist leash.

    C-Skin Wetsuits

    Our C-Skin wetsuits are the best rental suits on the market. We have a huge size selection to choose from including kid's (XSJ-XXLJ), women's (8-14) and men's (S-XXL). All our suits are washed and disinfected after every use.
