Small Groups - Quality Instructors

At Blue Surf School we aim to teach you the surfing skills and knowledge you need to start surfing independently for years to come. 

We also never lose sight of how challenging surfing is or how intimidating the ocean can be.

We put a lot of emphasis on creating the right team and environment, hand-picking our instructors for you to learn from and improve in no matter your surfing level.

By capping our lessons at six students to an instructor (two less than the industry standard) you'll get more 1-on-1 time with your coach in the water, making our lessons even better value.

As there's no "one size fits all" when it comes to surfing, we cater for different ages, abilities, and needs.

    Beginner Lesson

    For: Complete beginners or those surfing in the white water

    Age Range: 8+ years old

    Class Size: Only 6 students to 1 instructor

    For: Confident white water surfers happy on their own in deep water

**Please Note:

Only ONE child between 5-7 years old can take part in a private surf lesson unsupervised.

For safety reasons, the Instructor will need to be with them at all times in the water and will have very limited opportunities to apply hands-on coaching to other participants (including other older children).

ANY additional child aged between 5-7 years old will need to be supervised by a non-surfing adult to take part.
